The Dietetic Wellness Project
a WA State Public Passion Program
Founded in Eastern Washington, 2026
Mission Statement :
The Eastern Washington nonprofit corporation, The Dietetic Wellness Project, has been incorporated to help patients in Eastern Washington more easily access vital nutrition products that are evidenced based Nutrition Interventions in the treatment/prevention of chronic disease through Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) appointments. The Dietetic Wellness Project is not a conduit for Dietetic Research; the Executive Director is completely dedicated to charity distribution of nutrition products financed through public fundraising (new informational webpage about how to donate coming soon
Fall 2026 or early 2027).
A fundamental ideology that the nonprofit observes is the belief that people deserve to have access to free nutrition education that has been designed by a credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and that healthcare workers also deserve a fundamental right to have access to free professional resources in nutrition assessment / patient education that have been designed by a credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. To help increase access to free nutrition education, the Executive Director of The Dietetic Wellness Project Ms. Samantha Walton RDN MS Nutrition solely produces 20 second reels about diabetes/prediabetes education on Instagram (@DWP.Nutrition), solely writes/publishes information about current health/nutrition news, and solely designs/publishes Patient Education Handouts & Dietetic Assessment Resources.
This website is free to access on mobile device or computer for healthcare professionals, nutrition enthusiasts, and patients. It is another goal for The Dietetic Wellness Project to increase awareness about the importance of Food Security and to help healthcare professionals, nutrition enthusiasts, and patients have increased access to regional/national Food Security services/organizations on the nonrpofit's forum and Instagram account (@DWP.Nutrition).
The Executive Director, Ms. Samantha Walton, is currently working on writing articles and creating content on Instagram (@DWP.Nutrition) about Food Security organizations to help increase awareness about other corporations that assist in making communities more stable. The Dietetic Wellness Project, as of 2026, does not participate in paid advertisements or endorsements; all opinion pieces published by The Dietetic Wellness Project reflect the opinions of the Executive Director Ms. Samantha Walton RDN MS Nutrition. The Dietetic Wellness Project currently has no corporate affiliations to disclose.
As a credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Ms. Samantha Walton the Executive Director of the nonprofit is required to obtain 75 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU) every 5 years to keep her credentials active with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
in the United States of America.

I hope that this website will get you just as excited as I am about the unlimited potential of nonprofit nutrition programs when someone is accredited with national regulatory authorities that support evidence-based nutrition guidelines.
To abide by legal standards, I'm not currently offering my own Compensated Medical Nutrition Therapy
or Counseling Services. The Dietetic Wellness Project is now producing free 20 second diabetes education with English/Spanish reel descriptions on Instagram @DWP.Nutrition. You can read more about this on the website's Instagram Education webpage. You can also view these reels on the nonprofits official Facebook page named The Dietetic Wellness Project.

Any nutrition education presentation that I create/participate in as a volunteer will be documented under the professional experiences tab on this website. I can apply to receive continuing education credits for nutrition education programs that I volunteer my time to; please don't be shy about asking me to volunteer for your community/church/organization/school.

In 2026 or early 2027, The Dietetic Wellness Project will offer a new webpage dedicated to how to donate to my organization so that I can give give charitable donations to my patients in Eastern Washington. All projects will have a description of the goal, products being considered for bulk purchase, & how the product would be redistributed.
