Having a reference sheet for Enteral Home Nutrition Support can be a great asset in a busy clinical team of RDNs/RDs. RDNs/RDs who are visual learners, enjoy taking notes, prefer to have clinical references on hand, and/or RDNs/RDs who enjoy writing out calculations by hand may find this free PDF useful. This free resource is designed to remind an RDN how to calculate cans of enteral formula per feed & reminds the professional to prioritize patient centered care before deciding to recommend more than 3 home enteral feeds a day.
The last section of the sheet is designed so that the RDN can slide the sheet in a clear plastic sleeve and use an expo marker to record their own home feed calculations quickly/efficiently.
